Decided to put up my M-250 R2... Here is the M-250 R2 installed outside with the 70 watt HPS ballast from Alain. Since I got the extra FCO glass I used that in this fixture. When spring comes around I will have to bug-protect it cause buts will start getting in the fixture. But I don't have to worry about that now. So now I have two 70 watt HPS lights outside and this isn't as overkill as the 150 watt HPS 115 that was outside before. Ballast works great, and it lights up the yard well. What do you guys think of this? (This picture was taken after I replaced the photocell from the dayburner one) Keywords: American_Streetlights

My great uncle in Mississipi. He had a NEMA head mounted on a tree (surely not well) And then it crashed and fell down and it was laying there for a while, STILL CONNECTED. When I went there in 2010, I saw it and he let me have it, the NEMA head was busted up and the ballast in sad condition, but the arm was fine so I used the arm. The ballast is in this room and still WORKS but lots of the connections are messed up and stuff.

Tony: Nope, it was one of the PC's I found with one of my streetlights, I dunno which one though. I have a lot of PC's that came from my lights but not all of them work.

Yeah those electronic PCs don't seem to take impact well. I dropped my FP SunTech PC with the cover off and i was sure it was now a dayburner, but those suntechs are built like tanks for electronic PCs. Very sensitive too, which I like. I don't like elctronic PCs that turn the lights on earlier. How is that supposed to save energy? Confused
