I don't have any personal experience with EYE Lighting but I've heard nothing but good things about them (besides the premium pricing). I have a Philips 400W CMH lamp for use on 400W HPS ballast and it's a very nice lamp. I've only lit it up once but the color was amazing. CMH lamps are really out of this world awesome. Looks like the above one is a quartz MH arc tube. Nothing wrong with those. CMH is more expensive, but I got mine for free from a friend (NOS to boot).

I mite just put a HPS in the fixture, I don't have say in it.

Yep,as Mike says EYE lamps are good lamps,if you're looking to use this type of conversion lamp I would recommend EYE lamps.

Ok, the building has Chicago code so it mite have to be Venture
