Vintage Dazor Fluorescent Desk Lamp Got this as a Christmas present! Came from eBay. It's an old fluorescent desk lamp, likely from the late 50s or early 60s. It has the manual-preheat style starter. Still works great for its age and puts out a lot of light. This unit is Model 1000. Vintage Dazor Fluorescent Desk Lamp

Got this as a Christmas present! Came from eBay. It's an old fluorescent desk lamp, likely from the late 50s or early 60s. It has the manual-preheat style starter. Still works great for its age and puts out a lot of light. This unit is Model 1000.

Are the lamps independantly switched for light level control or are they on the same switch? Regardless, awesome score! Very Happy Cool

Thanks man! Very Happy The lamps are on the same switch - you press and hold the red button until the ends of the lamps glow, and then release to light.

If you press the button quickly sometimes one lamp will light, that's how Both of the 2 lamp ones i have are
However way cool find! Much older then most I've seen Cool

Thanks! Funny enough, I actually had that happen earlier today - I pressed the button quickly and only the front bulb lit.
