New Brown DTL
120-277V 1.5ftc. These guys are twins from 2011 from Ryan. I know have PCs from 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. All four years in a row. The 2010 one is a Fisher Pierce. 2006 is the next newest after that. And before that 2003 I think. Then 2001, 2000, 1999, and back to my oldest twistlock which is a Fisher Pierce from the 70s.

These brown ones are DTL's "1704" series "Utility Grade" photocontrols. If you open it up and compare the insides of it next to the black one I sent you, you will notice that there really is NOTHING different about them. Not sure where they get "Utility Grade" from when they are built just like all their other PC's.

LOL yeah i remember you saying they were the same. I think the black ones have the same model number too, they're just 1ftc instead of 1.5ftc.

Well they're both DTL DP124 series multivolt PC's. The footcandle settings are different and the end of the part number is different. On the black one, it ends in TJBK, the T stands for the time delay, the J is for the MOV joule rating, and BK stands for black. The brown one ends in 1704 which is a number DTL assigned basically to those PC's, for it to have the 1.5 setting, 320 joule MOV, and brown cover for identification. Lol sometimes I think I should work for a photocontrol manufacturer. That would probably be a pretty fun job.

Ah i see. Yeah working in a PC factory would be pretty cool. You could probably get some free "samples" every once in a while lol. And maybe you could get some funky colors like purple or neon green lol.
