Does this have a date marked on it? I don't think the American Electric lights had the manufactur date on them until Thomas & Betts took over. the capacitor should be dated though...

No date that I can see. The instructions that came with it though reference "FL Industries". AE was purchased from ITT by them in 1985, until T&B bought them in 1992.

Ahh i didn't know that. I was under the impression that it went from ITT right to T&B.

Nope.

And I checked the date on the cap, "87-25" so I assume it's from 1987. The 25 was discontinued in '88 or '89, IIRC.
