Ground up's safer. Especially if you're gonna use a metal cover plate.

Yep, I'd say ground up, if you want a more commercial look. Since this is a self grounding receptacle you would just connect that green grounding screw to the bare (or green - possibly) wire in the box and it should be all fine. If you don't already have one, one of these would be a good investment, they can be bought at Home Depot, Lowes and any of the big hardware stores. Those testers will light up to tell you the outlet is wired properly or if its not, it will also tell you how it's improperly wired if it is. It will even check GFCIs to see if they are working properly.
