I do see those sometimes....usually it would go "Your Speed" and a window of a number is shown below like the sign on the bottom of this thing.....

Another difference....it would say MPH...but speed limit signs don't have MPH on them though....

I see these around my area all the time.

Around here they would be regarded as a challenge.......

Or they would become ventilated signs in short order.

There is a something similar scattered around some of arterial roads here too. Some of the ones here are pole mounted that says "YOUR SPEED XX km/h" on it, while there are some portable ones like the one shown above.

maybe they Should Construct a Freeway...to keep the Rural Road Safe...though they Actually do make 2 Lane Freeways (Reffered to as Super 2's in the United States) they are More Dangerous than a Divided Highway! Shocked

Devonte Rolling Eyes The freeway (#1 or 401) is only a mile away lol,not as primitive as you think, people get off at the nearest exit and take the short cut along the rural roads to where ever, instead of using the main roads. here is a view of the freeway about a mile from where I live.

Hmm. 60 kph is only about 35 MPH. that seems a little low IMO. Here we have roads that look like this one and the speed limits are 40-45 MPH. The lowest speed limit used on public roads here is 25 MPH but most people go about 30 MPH.

Interesting, over here most roads like the one in the pic are usually 80 km/h. The lowest limit on roads here is 30 km/h and the highest 100 km/h...most people here go at least 10 km/h over the limit.

The highest here is 65 MPH (about 105 km/h) on Interstate 295 and on I-95 from the Connecticut border to Exit 9, where the speed limit drops to either 50 or 55 MPH and stays like that until you go over the MA/RI border and in Mass it's back to 65 MPH again until you go more North.

Ahh Ontario used to go up to 70 MPH on freeways back in the Imperial days (like early 70s ish) but they lowered the freeway limit to 60 MPH shortly before switching to Metric.
