This lamp is pink because it is deplated in scandium but there is still contains enough sodium (In extreme cases these lamps can be reach the orangey red color of an old regular HPS lamp). Pink Na-Sc MH lamps should be replaced soon. This nearly EOL characteristic is common with probestart Na-Sc MH lamps, especially with the GE ones. Most of the pulse start Na-Sc MH lamps simply increase their CCT toward their EOL like the Tri-Band MH lamps.

When we replace burned out ballfield lamps, we also replace "pinkies", as they wont last much longer.
