LED Acorn Drop Lens (cracked open)
This is the first city street drop lens LED fixture I have seen. The exact same looking fixture by KING has been being used in HPS from 2010-2014. The only way I could tell this street was LED was the neat white-purple-pink light from a distance. Now I wonder how many other subdivisions could be this LED variant! An LED FCO version has been in use at the downtown bus terminal for a year, they hold up pretty good.

Thats awesome! The teardrops on the east side of brampton are HPS I'd like to see this more often Razz

They installed poles and arms just like these and the put NVN's. In case your wondering its on Hazelwood this is a great discovery Smile

Yeah, not sure why Hazelwood got box shaped fixtures on these ornamental poles, or why Hazelwood got ornamental poles Mad . I've been waiting YEARS for new ornamental lights on Queen St at the CN rail overpass, I now think they should be these. It would be cool seeing them dip along the road on short poles under the bridge.

If only they could convert the shoebox's to LED. Something like the ORL on those nice square poles but with LED and theres an actual lens instead of these UFO fixtures
