Line Material Unistyle 175
Here is a picture showing the new ballast I installed and the wiring of my Line Material Unistyle 175. The wiring isn't exactly neat. I may tidy up the wires a little bit with some cable ties eventually.

Looks good! If you want to make it neater, just shorten some of the wires like the black wire from the ballast going to the cap. It looks fine to me as long as no wires get pinched when the door closes. Smile

I might just leave it like this. I'm very careful when I close the door to make sure I don't pinch the wires. Or break the hinges.

Maybe use wire ties like me? I mean I can tell you avoided wirenuts, but wire ties always make things neater. That's why I use them. But I tend to use lots of them, I like them to be very neat. xD

Yeah you can also tell that I mix and matched the sizes of the crimp connectors Laughing . The problem was that there was more than one gauge of wire in this Unistyle. The PC socket wires I believe are 14 AWG, and I thought the lamp socket wires were 16 AWG. And the new ballast wires are 18 AWG. So I just tried the two different size crimps on each wire and used whatever one seemed to fit best. I was able to use a small red crimp on the red PC socket wire because a few strands of wire broke off when I stripped it. So it was thin enough to fit snug in the red one. I tried a couple times to strip the red wire to avoid breaking off strands of wire but because the wires are so old, they will probably just keep breaking.
