M-250 R2 with glareshield.

I've seen this kind of glareshield before on other lights, so I am sure they intentionally put this here, but it does kinda look tacky. But The houses behind it probably wouldn't want it showing in their window, but I doubt there were complaints, unless there were with a previous light. But I know when they installed this light they put the glareshield on it.

That's definitely a homemade glare sheild, or at least not designed for a cobrahead. Almost looks like a floodlight visor. GE's M-250R2/A2 glare shields look like dog cones lol.

There are other glareshields like this in other areas. But you are right, this isn't factory made, but I guess this is what they wanted to use.

Hmm yeah they're probably designed for a floodlight or shoebox or something and they just jerry-rigged them onto the fixtures lol. With the M-250R2s, the two dripholes near the rear side of the refractor make a good point to install the shield; looks like that's what they used.
