What brand module is this? What is the brand of the modules of this? The yellow of these brand modules seem to not have a diamond pattern on them.. Just a rough texture on the lens is all, but it still has the same effect like the green and the red (with the diamond pattern on them) does. The modules are the same brand, I wonder what modules have the red and green diamond pattern and the yellow just a rough texture, not grid pattern not diamond pattern just rough texture. What is the brand of the modules of this?

The yellow of these brand modules seem to not have a diamond pattern on them.. Just a rough texture on the lens is all, but it still has the same effect like the green and the red (with the diamond pattern on them) does.

They look like EOI to me.

What are EOI's? WHat pattern do those have and what do they look like? The yellows have no pattern on them at all?

EOI is Excellence Opto Inc. The earlier ones have the diamond pattern similar to the older Dialights but larger pattern. The later model EOI have a rough texture pattern that resembles an incandescent lens the best.

I would assume that the Red and Green were upgraded first to LED and the yellow was upgraded at a later date, given the updated LED fixtures

Actually not true, because on this same intersection there is a BRAND NEW signal that they put up and they all have these EOI's I guess, The yellows have a rough texture while the red and green have the diamond pattern. On all of the signals on the whole arm, there were 4 signals on the whole arm with the balls. And all of them had rough yellow middles and the diamond pattern on the red and greens.

Is there a site for the EOI signal heads?

Then my best guess is that the signal shop bought the LEDs seperately and kept them in stock...and installed them into empty housings before putting them in service. Thats the only other logical reason behind it that I see.
