(Pic from Google as I haven't been to Ottawa in years)
Noticed something that caught my eye browsing through MTO construction pics. The recent reconstruction on the 417 replaced the original highmast lights there with these short single highmast fixture poles. These are identical to what Buffalo used on the I-190, seems interesting that MTO decided to use them and not highmast. Fixtures appear to still be HPS.
