Cool, did you finally get this light from Jace?

I used some super glue to fix my B2255 PC socket before I replaced it. If you don't mind the smell and the oil it leaves behind try spraying some WD-40 on it.

yep got it from him today. Glueing it is no problem, i jsut can't get the piece to fit in where it goes properly for some reason. Neutral

I think I had the same problem when I glued the one in my B2255 Confused so I ended up replacing the socket with a new one I ordered.

Any Cooper PE receptacle will directly retrofit that.

Hey Mike, do you still have the original PC socket from your OV 25? I bet you can transfers the guts from this one on your NEMA to the housing on the other one.

@ NiMo; where can i get a new Cooper PC socket? Neutral
@ Joe; no i got rid of that once i got the replacement PC socket from Darren. the terminal screws on my OV-25's receptacle were so corrosed you couldn't tell the screw from the metal bracket it was screwed into.

I found that the best way to remove these is to remove the ballast and tap it from the inside. The rubber seal almost becomes like a cement seal after 40+ years of heat. Just a note for future reference.

Yep that's how I ended up doing it lol. I didn't realize at the time that the leads were slip-on, since the're integral to the ballast. GE's the opposite: slip-ons on the ballast and integral PC wires.

Yeah, I did the exact same thing with my very first Westy NEMA. Lol
