How is the lighting distribution on these compared to other FCO fixtures?

It's not bad. I personally think the M-250R2 does the best in FCO because the light pattern is smooth on the ground. As with all FCO fixtures, coated lamps work best because the cut glare and difuse the uneven lines in the distibution.
