I never cared for the AE Powerpad lights because of the gap between the doors. You can see daylight right through the gap! The GE Powr/Doors have overlapping doors so the gap is minimal.

I never paid attention to that before. Thanks for pointing that out. Doesn't necessarily make me like them any less though. I've just always preferred single door cobraheads.
I love the M-250A and the M-150 (original M-250A2) but other than that I too prefer single door lights. From an installer's perspective, the ballast-on-door lights make the job a lot easier though. Not even from a maintenance perspective, but the fact that over half the weight is on the door, which is off when the fixture is being installed on the arm. Makes a huge difference when you get to the medium size 250 and 400W cobraheads.
