LED replacement parkinglot lights at a Target store

They replaced both the fixtures & poles (new poles are shorter).

Huh, I see those little occupancy sensors on them. Is it a law or a code in Colorado, that outdoor LED fixtures need to have a occupancy sensor? To me I really don't think it doesn't make any sense to put occupancy sensors on LEDs in big parking lots.

Nope, not a law in Colorado. It must just be something that Target is doing? It would save some power late at night after the store has closed (and yet still have the lot lit up is someone came through)
