StreetLight #234 (LED Replacements)
This is a re-upload of the original pic of this light I had here as I noticed an err in it today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These are what replaced the streetlight I uploaded on Aug 1th ( This one )
They seem to be showing up all around now (not sure if its that one town doing it, or the county, or whatever..).

Atleast its a decent looking fixture.

Oh and what does 'D' mean for wattage? Or is that color meaning 'Daylight'?

I'll give it this, it is a decent looking LED. It doesn't try to look ugly. I could deal with these.

D is supposed to be a number for the wattage. My guess is that it's "option D" for the brightness/power range for the fixture but that would be proprietary to the manufacturer though.

The look reminds me of a smaller Phillips model they recently used on pathway light retrofits found in my new lighting album. Looks good from a distance, and still has the techy heatsink/airflow design going on.

There's a stretch of highway where they installed these back in july or august... and I noticed tonight that a few are out. If they've died already, what junk Sad

Thats a Philips Lumec RoadFocus RFM LED street light. These fixtures are the best looking than the other LED fixtures that I seen. And yet TXDOT is using them, the RFM model, not sure about the RFL model. I also seen CPE putting these also, the RFS, and RFM models.

Thanks for the info lightingfan8902. There is also a larger version that they use at some intersections here (not sure which one it is though)

Probably the same RoadFocus LED luminaire, the RFL model.
