StreetLight #174 - Not Quite Straight?
Certainly not the best job on getting the pole installed vertically straight LOL (either that or it was hit/moved)
Looked to me like its a temporary install anyway, so I doubt they care.

(image was taken from a moving car & a bit of distance, so not the best quality)

Eh, it just throws the light more towards the street. It would be worse if it was leaning forward, then the pole might fall into the street. Shocked Plus it wouldn't be very useful other than to light the sidewalk lol. Take a look at this one at the end of my street. O_O It's been like that for years and it was probably just put in that way to begin with but you'd think they'd be just a little more careful. I can understand a slight tilt, since they rarely get the poles perfectly straight here, usually they lean a little one way, but this is crazy lol.

@Mike: True atleast this would direct light towards the street (don't believe there even is a sidewalk in this area, its a fairly major highway)

With that one you linked to, I kinda think it was pulled out of place over time - by the wires tee'd off at that intersection?
(oh, and I "looked up" & zoomed in on the streetlight there too LOL Smile )

The pole near me that's crooked has been like that for 11 years and hasn't gotten any worse. The tension probably isn't helping any though. At least it has an anchor wire though. Yeah that light is a 50W HPS M-250R2 with a Westinghouse/Cooper/AEL glass lens.
