StreetLight #089 - Fence Mounted
|
StreetLight mounted on top of a (decorative) brick fence pole.
There's a strip of these all mounted like this...the lights themselves aren't too uncommon, but this group has something different than the standard HPS lamps like everything else (and they used to be HPS as well)
Whatever lamps are in them now look to be around 3000k-3500k color temp (only time I've ever seen that in a streetlight). Maybe metal halide??

just replace where i wrote "dot" above with periods and put it in your address bar.
I know they're not MV-DX ... Think about the color of a warm-white fluorescent tube, that's about what these look like
I'll see if I can get a look/pic at one of the NEMA stickers (or a night pic) sometime when I'm not the one driving - this is along a busy road with no shoulder (the pic here was actually taken from a moving car). There is another neighborhood street directly on the other side of the fence (so these are actually lighting 2 roadways LOL) ..never been on it so I don't know whats there or if there's places to pull over/park, but I do know there is very little traffic on that side
I was by these today There's no NEMA stickers visible - if they exist, they're on the part of the fixture-base thats blocked from view by the pole (I even went down the streets on both sides of the fence) .
