PEPCO has a lot of those arms, and ironically a lot of OVHs! But now PEPCO uses AE 115s....

I am wondering who makes those arms? There's also lot of those arms in Connecticut too.....I am not exactly sure if I would say it has a guyline....it looks more like a brace...but it sure is an A-frame!

I'm not sure who makes them either? The back brace is like a 1" by 1/4" thick strap of metal that bends 90 degrees at the pole mount for the through bolt. We still use these arms but they have a guy line and we get them through MACLEAN which bought out Joslyn brackets and distribution hardware although joslyn is still around but don't make brackets anymore. The OVH is on an NU pole because the city of greenfield owns an maintains there own streetlights. NU would of put up an M-250R2.

That arm sure was, we have that model up in our system too!

PEPCO used to use a lot of those arms on your pic above...but now it seems they use I believe Utility Metals A Frames see here and in the same pic the left row are BGE truss arms, from Curlee Machinery

And of course you see PEPCO arms holding the OVH while the BGE ones were AE 115 sag lens...both in this pic both were actually installed around the same time!

I believe national grid uses utility metals and HG&E started using MACLEAN last year, before that they were using GE arms.
