The Lone HPS light
This is a Missout on the LED changeout here in the city. This lone HPS light still lights up surronded by LED lights. Kinda reminds me of the days when you would see the random merc mixed in with HPS. I believe they did not swap out this light due to it's close proximity to the primary wire but this primary is slated to be upgraded. When that happens, this HPS light will meet the same fate as many others.

Sorry for the quality, I took this with my Phone while driving.

There's a light near me that actually TOUCHES a primary line. I know what your thinking: not possible. Well, there's an orange "jacket" that insulates the wire from the light. Still kinda scary though when you think about it. Shocked The light is a 100W HPS M-250R2 with a pinked out lamp (not a cycler). It makes me think the lamp is GE since their older 90s and before HPS lamps seem to be more pink than white.

They have now changed it to LED. Sad All the HPS is going fast around here and I've even seen the Town & Country post tops changed out.

The high pressure sodium street lights in Pittsburgh are going fast too.
