this is big brother to your OV-10 Pack i believe.
GullWhiz   [Dec 26, 2011 at 03:08 AM]
No, it's not a internal ballasted but only integrated photocell so it is NOT a power pack! Even Form 109 never had internal ballast......

Nice. I really wish there were more older fixtures, although i can't really complain since RI has a more older fixtures than a lot of other places.

I wish Xcel energy and most of COLORADO didn't wipe out ALL Mercury Vapor fixtures and replace them with HPS in the early 80's!

At least some Utilities in the mountains didn't do that. Like in Buena Vista there are Clamshells as you saw in that picture. And In Bailey they are ALL MV, And with two Original M-400's.

I thought I saw IREA replace some with Cobrahead HPS... I am not sure though..

Ian, don't forget Ouray! Clear mercs!
LilCinnamon   [Dec 26, 2011 at 03:55 PM]
I was thinking about that when posting that. xD

And Bailey is Clear Merc too. Lots of the Rural utilities like to use MV. xD

And I dunno if Ouray still has them, I would like to travel there one day, but it's far from me.

My parents don't have much money is the problem. That's why I stayed home for the Holidays. If we had MONEY we would of went somewhere lol.

streetlight98   [Feb 22, 2013 at 03:01 AM]
hey david is this still there?
GullWhiz   [Feb 22, 2013 at 06:00 PM]
This one is more likely 240 volt letting you know...most installations with blue photocells are 240 volts
streetlight98   [Feb 22, 2013 at 08:30 PM]
Probably, but this is Boston so I can't say for sure. Joe Maurath may know.

No, Mike, it's gone. Replaced by a 270-watt LED Philips Hadco RX2

Sad Crying or Very sad

It's unfortunate that so many cities have decided to replace good street lights with disposable junk.
