Here I purchased from Alpharetta, GA Sam's Warehouse today (2010-8-22) thinking a great addition to my collection.  By the way the bulb is pretty heavy!

I think that the entrie lamp are made from a metal (I think the material body is a metal because of the silver color of it), and this may be the reason for the heaviness.

Mercury Free LED?..ha...why would an LED need mercury anyway?

How does this compare to a 60w incandescent?

I look at the shadow on the floor tonight and seems to be fainter than the 60 Watts incandescent floodlight. Yes, these die itself is glary due to the color temperature of the LED floodlight.
