OV-15 FCO
I'll retake this pic in better light. This OV-15 used to have a very brown lens with dim merc. When I reported it, they replaced the lens with an FCO lens and has a bright new merc in it.

Awesome! My area brand new fixtures are sag lens.....but if an existing fixture needed new lens and had drop lens, it would get a new drop lens......

Funny thing...when I was still living in Northbrook Ill, back in 2001-2004, they still installed DROP lens MV fixtures but for HPS it was FCO

whatever lens is in the truck is what National Grid will replace it with. It's usually a formed plastics lens but it's sometimes a flat glass.

This fixture has been replaced with a new M400R3 400w HPS. Honestly, I'm glad they replaced it. The Westy never seemed to give of an adequate amount of light for this intersection. When they replaced the old browned refractor with a FCO lens, it became even more apparent. It was probably only 175 or 250w. Additionally, it had trouble starting the lamp on occasion.
