I used to work in Public Works in Northbrook as a school work program. They told me that most of those contrete poles in Illinois are serviced by the cities and towns of public works. While those truss arms and bottom braced upsweeps on the wooden poles are serviced by ComEd....this is why more often you see MV on wooden poles and the concrete and others have HPS. Hope this is something new you learned Wink

Yeah these are owned by H.E. I believe these concrete poles date back to the mid-late 70's. The fixtures themselves were probably installed at the same time. They've been slowly replacing the concrete poles with steel poles. I think they replace 7 of them each year.
