GE M400A3 250w HPS
This light replaced a GE M250A2 (150w HPS) on a concrete pole, which was removed during a road construction project last summer. The M250A2 was a drop glass, while this M400A3 is flat glass cutoff. I like this one much better. It doesn't produce nearly as much glare. There is still another M250A2 directly on the other side of the road from this fixture.

This fixture also has the distribution pattern sticker on the power door.

Hmm odd that the distribution patter label is on the outside. Confused Nice that they used a medium light for 250W HPS. Here they'd slap up an M-250R2. Laughing Yeah the small fixtures are glarey with clear lamps. The medium sized fixtures are far less glarey with drop lens since the lamp is higher in the refractor. I find the M-250R2/A2 squared lens is the real glare-causer and not really the fixture.

It's an option that can be ordered. Many (most?) IDOT lights also have the distribution label on them.

Yeah but i thought the distribution label is supposed to go inside the light.
