As much as I hated to see US production of GE's decorative bulbs end, I must say that the C-9 filaments used in the Chinese bulbs are WAY better than the wiggly, fragile unsupported C-6s of the US-made bulbs. The construction of the aluminium bases on most of the medium base bulbs has been OK, but I would love to see these bulbs made with a brass base.
