I put it in a rather flimsy base and it fell over just about 30 seconds befor I was going to put it a way.

They make quite a pop!!! I hit a spent MH lamp while it was in the caton and glass went flying and what a sound!!! We keep all of our spent lamps in the same recycle box until we get back to our shop. Sometimes I kinda toss the old lamps from my bucket, and well, you know the story from there. Shocked

i've broken 175 Watt lamps,and they make abit of a sound...i can only imagine a 1 KW Lamp!...that should be like a Cannon! Shocked
