Cabinet at a Detroit Intersection Slated for Removal
Unlocked and opened up this cab in the D at one of the intersections that had signals in a permanent flashing mode awaiting their demise....

The cabinet is an older EAGLE brand, with the signal controller and intersection conflict monitor pulled from the cabinet. All thats left is a partially non-working terminal facility. All the switch packs are disconnected and all the wiring was cut from the terminals. The flasher has been shorted to operate the intersection continuously and the red and yellow wires are the only things connected.

Back in the day this cabinet housed an Eagle EPIC140 controller unit and EDI NSM-6LE monitor

Looks like a rats nest.

It wasn't this bad in its heyday. Everything was disconnected and just left in a pile. If you look close you can see the large black harness cables that would plug into the controller equipment
