Westinghouse vs. Cooper floodlights
Seattle City Light used to use these large Westinghouse MFB floods (I was told they were originally 1000w mercury - later converted to 400w HPS) when a floodlight was desired to be rented for use on private property. In the 80's, the Cooper box floods started to replace them. There are still some MFB's left around the City, but they are generally replaced with Cooper or GE boxes instead of maintained. This was one of the biggest clusters I've seen (June 2009). I've seen a few 750 and 1000w HPS versions too....they're crazy bright!

Those are big lights! Shocked To bad those get replaced a lot, they look like solid fixtures!

Why is there a tag that says "13324"? Is that some sort of trackign number? Neutral

I would guess so, that way whoever is renting the lights can tell the utility company what light number is out, all of our streetlights have numbers on the poles.

We have pole numbers, but that's it. The freeway poles used to be numbered here, but they're not anymore. For instance, the 10th light on Interstate 295 northbound on Exit 5 would have the code
I-295N
E510

Yes, it's the ID number for servicing. Usually the number is on the pole, but since there are multiple lights on this pole, they numbered the individual lights.
