Howard Lighting cobrahead
Snohomish County PUD started installing these around 2010-2011 in residential areas...fortunately I haven't seen too many of them yet. I assume they order these because they are cheaper than the GE or even the Cooper fixtures they used to install. The light distribution of these FCO fixtures seems to be mostly forward, projecting a lot of light on houses across the street and not much to the side, leaving large dark areas in between poles. It could also be the way the PUD has installed them (perhaps they should be tilted down slightly). Finally somebody got the company right! These don't look bad to me. They're certainly better than shoeboxes that got ran over by a bus (LED fixtures). Looks like a spin off the older GE NEMA tag font...

looks almost like the short stubby AE 413.
