FCO R47
Here's a mockup of a FCO R47, fitted with a FCO OVX glass from a surplus place

The OVX glass fits the opening but is too thin to be able to mounted to the door without slipping. I'm guessing the factory FCO R47s either had thicker glass or needed shims to fit it in snugly.

Interesting, I've been looking for a small FCO lens for a while.

Just don't buy two boxes of FCO glass Shocked Razz

I might be getting another one too, maybe I can try stacking them to see if I can get it to fit better. BTW the R47 is back to drop lens.

I need an FCO small glass for my M-250r2. Think you can get me one of these?
gailgrove   [Jun 20, 2011 at 11:59 AM]
Sure, but I'm not sure how it would survive the shipping across the continent Confused
GullWhiz   [Jun 20, 2011 at 01:56 PM]
Easy, simply get two THICK foam and sandwich the glass between two maybe 3 inch foam....and insert it in a box..and send! Oh I would put an "X" of tape both sides of the glass for shipping and tape the foam around too....
LilCinnamon   [Jul 09, 2011 at 09:49 AM]
Would I still be able to get the FCO glass for replacement for my M-250r2?
gailgrove   [Jul 10, 2011 at 07:38 PM]
Sure, once I'm able to get to the store, I don't have them yet.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 09, 2011 at 10:16 PM]

Don't worry they still have a lot left for sale. Very Happy

I got a second piece and now it fits a lot better in the R47.
LilCinnamon   [Oct 09, 2011 at 11:36 PM]
Joe, will you be able to send one to me? Since you seem to be buying them a lot. xD
joe_347V   [Oct 10, 2011 at 12:03 AM]
I think Niall's going to get one for you. Wink
LilCinnamon   [Oct 11, 2011 at 05:31 AM]
Well I want three of these FCO glasses, I could use one for my new 113, and use one for my M-250 R2. And have a third as just a... spare.

I was planning to pay the full 6 dollars for these three (as they were two dollars each) and the shipping.
That okay Niall?
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 12:45 PM]
You might want to check if your lume needs one or two pieces, the glass is quite thin at 1/8" and some lumes like my R47 needs two pieces or a shim to fit in tightly.
streetlight98   [Jun 20, 2013 at 01:24 PM]
kind of a late reply, but i know the early FCO M-250R1s has the rubber gasket mounted on the FCO glass instead of on the reflector, which probably filled up that extra space. I'd be interested in two FCO glasses but I'm curious how much shipping would be first... If shipping is less than 20 bucks I'll take two.

Interesting, the R47 has a felt gasket so I need to find a rubber gasket in order to try that. I guess it's like how traffic light lenses have a gasket which also fills in the gap too. I do however have small rubber pieces to shim the glass though.

BTW I sent you a email regarding the FCO glass.
