An old Admiral hat with an old arm!
Yes one of the best finds here! I have no idea about the number tag.....but I have even seen Silverliners in PEPCO area have tags with blue and "1" on them! This arm is old and I don't see too many of them but is found here and there with cobraheads and old incandescent!

You're lucky to still find incandescent streetlights in your area! Those that used to exist over here are long gone... since probably 40 years at least...

I see what you mean by the reversed reflectors, I imagine the longer end of the reflector is the street side. BTW that tag is the NEMA tag for incandescents. 18 means this light uses an 189w 2500 lumen bulb.

What color is it supposed to be?
In PEPCO, I also see clamshells have NEMA tags on the sides of the reflector and some older cobrahead have NEMA tags too!

Incandescents have been assigned the color "purple" by NEMA.

I've got a GE head w/ this same reflector. And yes the longer side is supposed to be the street side. Very nice pics Jace

Giraffe, the last time I saw the admiral hat in Westminster on 97....that reflector was also backwards!

I guess it really doesnt make a big difference. But on most all I've seen the long side goes on the street side. At least it's that way on all the Crescent's I have

What is with the name of these fixtures? They all have some sort of.. Military name.. Which I don't get. Same with post-tops.
