70W HPS Crouse-Hinds L-150
This is in front of my mom's friend's house. It was dayburning ever since i was a kid. It must've been fixed recently, because he said it lights up at night. It also has a new PC. The NEMA tag looks deliberatly scratched off, but I know it's 70W HPS because all the HPS lights around here are either 70 or 250W HPS (or 50 if recently installed by NGrid).

This is one fixture I'd like to find for my collection.

You and me both. Cool I like the L-150 much better than the OVZ or OVH. Confused

This is a commonly used street light in Duquesne Light's area.

UPDTE: This light has lost its door, showing the relatively new Sylvania lamp inside. If this gets spotted by NGrid or reported to them, it'll be replaced...

I had to look twice to see that the bottom of the door was doubled like what you see in google streetview Laughing

Is your city going on a rapid westy and crouse-hinds replacement spree?

What are you talking about streetview and the door being doubled? Neutral I took this picture with my own camera... In this pic, the light has it's door. But now it has lost it's door. This pic is from 2012.

This isn't my city. this is the town of Newport. The lights are owned by the electric company, not the cities and towns. NGrid isn't on a replacing spree, but it's not like they carry around replacement doors for lights that were made 30 years ago. Razz If they have a door, they'll put a new door on but usually they don't which means new fixture time, as they're required to fix damaged lights or replace them. It was just relamped a year or two ago so I'm not going to report it. If I find out it's not working, then I'll report it. But here's the streetview if you wanted to see it. The streetview is also from 2012.
