Yeah I guess. They look like shovelhats with sports light reflectors. I couldn't see any lamps in them. they lit the grassy field near the waterfront that was once a giant swimming pool.

Absolutely. I've seen incandescent sportslighters in use at several school sports stadiums, ball fields, swimming pools and tennis courts up until the late 1990's. Can't say I've seen one since then, though.

Wow. These must have used very high wattage lamps then because they light a huge area that used to be the pool along with a second pole with the same number of lights.
