RIDOT Ramp Lighting

Here are some 250W HPS M-250R2 on the Exit 9 at I-295. I was headed for my uncle's house and getting on RI 146, another freeway. This set-up was the earliest of RIDOT's relay lighting set-ups, though they have reconnected some parts of I-95's lighting to relay systems since the lights had PCs when i was a kid. Funny how even before I was into lighting I remember seeing the brown and blue photocells intead of the tall inermatic shorting caps. This was always a relay set up though judging that none of the lights have PC sockets.
