Neighborhood Streetlights survived....BUT
Some of the trees didn't!!!

In this view, this is my neighborhood entrance...the post top you see in the corner is a Cooper Traditionare 150 watt HPS....it is missing a PC housing top cover.......3 trees got fallen....2 of them has been broken by the bottom of the trunk.....but one actually seemed to be more of pulled out by the roots, not exactly sure....

The two trees on the left and one completely dead tree (which ironically SURVIVED the hurricane after being dead for 2 years) got cut down and been shredded...The one that had the roots pulled out is still there where you can see it on the right side of the road up the hill....

Wow, nasty storm! Poor trees got killed by the storm.

We had some serious flooding here in western mass. We also had some trees fall and some scattered power outages. I know all my fixtures survived the storm according to our house sitter. I also never lost power at my house!

Your lucky you have buried electric lines. Here we run all above ground. WHAT A MESS!!!! I lost power at 8AM sunday morning and didn't get it back until 2AM this morning. Trees downed everywhere. As true with you Jace, no lights were harmed in the storm. Not even one lost it's door. I guess that means i don't get any lights. Crying or Very sad

Well if the lights did end up damaged and on the ground they wouldn't be much good anyway, plus they would likely be near downed wires which you should go near anyways.

All the lines were dead here. Razz If a pole leaned down enough to reach it it'd be fine. I heard my city is going LED anyways. Mad

Well there was actually powerlines right above me when I was taking this picture........but where my houses and the neighborhood is underground...

But I believe the powerlines above me had a wire pathway that goes underground to the transformer you see on the left (it's hard to see if you look carefully in the dark shadowy area you will see a green box)
