1x F40T12 Desk Light
Here we have a 1-lamp F40T12 fixture.
Pretty sure this was designed to mount under the hutch part of a office desk.

Ballast is rapid-start, and the fixture is made of thick solid metal...not that paper-thin stuff of today's fixtures

Do I see an old Philips-made ACE Hardware lamp in there?
Is this LPF or HPF? Do you know what brand the ballast is?

Yep that is an old ACE lamp..I think I have a pic of its etch somewhere
I had 2 slightly different versions of this, some had HPF others LPF...I converted a number of them to electronic (because they were being used outside & needed reliable starting when its freeezing cold. I may still have one thats all original, I'll take a look)

Pic of the Ace lamp
This version has an Advance LPF RS ballast (02 1990) .. so now I have an idea of its age Smile
