CGEs at the CNE
I was at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition) at couple of days ago and I noticed that they used some 8-8-8 CGE signals on the midway games as decorations. They look like they're brand new but they have plastic lenses and missing visors.

Hmm are you sure they're CGEs? Maybe they're knockoffs?

I'm pretty sure they are Razz . They're exactly the same as mine except the back which looks like the newer 1970s-1980s version of the CGE back.

Wow that's cool! I hardly ever see signals used for decoration. There's a breakfast place in Coventry right off I-95 that has a signal on the wall with lenses that have words on them (not command lenses, but custom words) and it cycles through the colors fast, each color is only lit for a few seconds

Ahh, I have noticed signals and other street equipment like those OV-15s being used as decorations in shops and restaurants here. The signals are usually wired to light all three at once.
