Thanks, my area doesn't have a lot of S arms left but Toronto still has a lot of them with their gumballs...and they still install them too.

Update: this and the rest of the OV-15s got replaced with LED. Neutral They kept the arms though.

Yeah, I think these are the 3rd set of lights these mounted on these arms. The original lights were either gumballs or remote ballasted clamshells. I'm leaning towards remote ballasted clamshells as some poles still have remote ballast cans. They somehow survived the LED refit lol.

I hope when my city goes LED they keep some of the double guy arms instead of replacing them with tapered e arms

Yeah that'd be good. I know when Toronto refitted from merc clamshells to HPS cobras in the early 90s they also replaced the arms to tapered e.
