Somehow I have a feeling these are actually B2228s instead of B2255s since the rest of the lights at the lot are 1kW B2213s.

I think they might be, they're the same brightness as the B2213s. Well, unless they retrofitted everything to 400w MH. I still think the ballasts are quite old though since they're super loud when on.

some ballasts sound like bee hives right out of the box though usually the OEM ballasts are louder than replacement ballasts.

Pair of Powerlite B2255s

Here's a pair of Sylvania/Powerlite B2255s from the same Parking Lot the B2213s were in, oddly this is the only pole with B2255s. Maybe these are replacement lumes?
