No it's Not a M-400A...
Here's a pic of a grey Powerlite B2255 from the east end of Toronto. I think this might be a refurbed merc light though since almost all the other Powerlite lumes I've seen were bare aluminium.

Yeah a bit odd looking, kinda like seeing a grey silverliner for me. Razz
gailgrove   [Jun 06, 2011 at 10:12 PM]

I have seen a few grey b2227s on a driveway to a factory or warehouse back East.

In a way, it's kinda like a power door OVM
Form109   [Jun 20, 2011 at 02:40 AM]
Yeah i agree these always remind me of a power door OVM.
GullWhiz   [Jun 20, 2011 at 02:13 PM]
When OVS and OVM was introduced....the OV-15 Tudor and OV-25 Tudor was discontinued....as well as the L-150 and L-250....yep Crouse Hinds had Tudors (which are powerdoor fixtures)

I guess they thought "Nobody buys our Powerdoors anymore, most electric companies rarely are buying them anymore, let's dump them!"
streetlight98   [Jun 20, 2011 at 09:16 PM]
Or they got cheap. I agree though, the Powr/Door doesn't seem to be as popular around here as single door units. Up in Loon Mountian, NH though, M-250A2s are the absolute only fixture used! That and Powr/Brackets.
GullWhiz   [Jun 21, 2011 at 03:48 AM]
The powerdoors are very popular in Chicago (GEs mostly some AEs), Washington DC (all GEs), Arizona (all over using GEs, Hubbells, AEs), BGE (my electric company, using mostly GEs and only the medium size fixtures)

Not sure where else other than what I listed is popular with Power Door features.....

Hmm. Not getting comment notification again Jace. I know it's not your fault, but it's starting to frustrate me. Confused

The powerdoors are common on provincial highways here, but most utility/municipal installs seen to prefer single door now.
