First Generation LM Ovalites
Here's a pic of two first generation Line Materials Ovalites lighting a parking lot. One of the lights is dayburning while I guess the other one has a dead lamp inside. The ballasts are mounted in a transformer base so there's no visible ballast cans on the pole.

These are first generation Line Materials Ovalites. The glass opens from the rear. The sockets are reversed like in the Form 109. Nice find!

I went by these today, and it looks like these guys are going to be coming down soon, they're tearing down the plaza and parking lot and building a condo. Some construction hoarding has alreay gone up around the lot. Sad

I emailed the development company regarding these lights, I'll give them a few days to respond (and I hope to go to the site tomorrow) if they don't respond I'll be phoning (and keep phoning until I find who can help me with it Laughing ) Hopefully I can save all eight of these!

Shocked Did you try that with MTO Laughing Razz
gailgrove   [Jul 22, 2011 at 02:54 AM]
Yes, and I (eventually) got the site office number of the lighting contractor! I still have it and phone them every few months and ask how much longer until the lights are coming down.

Haha I guess they were getting annoyed at you constantly calling them Laughing

If you're talking about these they're still up yesterday, I've seen MTO leave old cobras up for three years before Shocked
