I know of three at an old police station here in Brampton and I think there were more. I can't link to it on my iPod but it is on the South East corner of Queen St.and Central Park Dr.

Looks like one of these: Laughing

Oh and Niall, did you mean this place? I looked on streetview and only found shoeboxes.

It's on the other side Razz , it looks like there used to be more but have since been replaced with floodlights.

Still, I wonder who made these, they seem be quite unique looking fixtures lol.

I see... Laughing These kinda look like the old gas street lights don't they? There's still a few gas streetlights left here. It's usually either a black and a white one about 5 feet apart or simply just a larger black one. It'd be cool to score one of them that're still hanging around.

It sorta looks like a large camping light too, I don't think we still have any gas lights left though.

Here's an example of one of the two styles of gas lights around here that are forgotten about. here's another one i know of. This one is in the oddest spot given the fact that it was still up. I'm not sure if the thrid one posted is still up since the ramp lighting was redone about a year ago and I never really paid close enough attention to the gas light since. The second style of gas lights left up here is seen in Pawtucket here. In this one there are four lights total, two black, two white. The last one i posted were different from the other three, which were all just outside my neighborhood in Cranton.

I think I have seen some gas lights downtown Toronto somewhere, they are of course only decorative and don't light up anything. And yes those are the lights.

Hmm now that you brought them up I think I saw some decorative gas lights on King in Toronto a few years ago but I can't seem to find them now.
