The 101 was the one with the round body, right? I didn't know they made both together. Neutral

Yes, The classic nema head style. I have a nos one from 1977, The year I was born. The bracket on this light has the GE emblem engraved on it just as the 101 does.

I wonder why they made both? Maybe the 101 was intended as a utility light and the 201 was intended as a residential light?

Well the 101 was the first and the 201 came later I guess they decided to keep the 101 for a while.

The 101 was the same GE NEMA used in the 60s wasn't it? Was it still called the Form 101? I think the gumball version was the Form 79.

You know i'm not sure, I don't know when the form 101 came out but I don't think it was the same as the 60's nema. I would love to find a GE catalog with all the vintage fixtures.

Same I love vintage catalogs. Smile
