Some one probably wanted light for their yard and got a ladder, wrench, and drill. Laughing
Form109   [Sep 10, 2011 at 07:53 PM]
this isn't in a residental area...it's downtown....and what ladder is long enough to reach all the way up there. Laughing

An extension ladder. you know, those metal ones? Razz Sometimes they are called cable ladders. Those can go up to like 40 feet.

a PAL light perhaps.....my area has a LOT of streetlights that point the other way, lighting parking lots, driveways...even the grass!

Try to practice your shaking hand issues....

National grid doesn't have PAL lights on their Rhode Island List. It's on the Mass one though. For RI it says "Light requests by munincipality only" They do install lights you provide for anyone for a cost i don't know offhand
Form109   [Sep 10, 2011 at 08:21 PM]
what do you mean by shaking hand issue?....my hand was steady to say the car was traveling on a Brick Road. Laughing

This pic is fine. If i can read the "40" on the NEMA tag, it's not blurry. Razz
Form109   [Sep 10, 2011 at 08:30 PM]
its "20" we don't use 400 Watt Sodium Cobraheads. Laughing
streetlight98   [Sep 10, 2011 at 08:32 PM]
Embarrassed in thsat case it's a tad burry. Laughing
Form109   [Sep 10, 2011 at 08:34 PM]
yeah i'll try and replace this one with a more...(ahem) stable picture.
GullWhiz   [Sep 10, 2011 at 08:34 PM]
Well Devonte, suggestion, unless you had a really quick shutter camera, (Most of the Canons are like that) don't take pics from a moving car, ask to pull over.....

Back then when I couldn't drive and my camera wasn't as good, I asked my parents or a friend to stop and pull over, or make some stop plans in the future...to take a pic of a light....

This applies for everyone....I don't REALLY want this page to take up space on non-effort slightly blurry pics.....
Form109   [Sep 10, 2011 at 08:46 PM]
we actually have two cannon's...i'll try one of those.

though my SLR is supposed to have a setting to catch fast moving objects?...think that'll work?
