Lighting-related random experiment: Mechanical TV!
Picture is kind of blurry... I know XD

I decided to try [url=http://www.sptv.demon.co.uk/nbtv/] this very simple Baird mechanical TV [/url]. In the pic the TV was running. I tried to display this picture:

After some adjustments, I could see some blurry forms that seemed to be letters! Of course this is an extremely crude experiment, the Nipkow disk used to produce the picture scan has been punched crudely with a pencil.

I need to make a more accurate Nipkow disk. I will also build a circuit that takes a video signal and convert it so the disk can scan the light impulsion from the LEDs to make a picture!
