A damged pedestrian signal in the center of Kiryat Ata
The green lens (Of the walking green man, meaning that you can cross) of the green signal was busted by vandals.
This is common in Kiryat Ata.
The municipality would replace the whole signal, or at least, if this pedestrian signal was installed by Menorah Izu Aharon, they will correct the existing signal.
I don't know if Menora Izu Aharon are actually producing traffic signals themselves or only installing them. But most of our traffic lights, have their signals made in Italy by SCAE company.
If the signal become broken, sometimes it is indeed corrected, but most of them replaced to new ones.
The signals can be open with a rapid clutch doors which is similar in some way to the Powr/Door technology of the GE MxxxA cobraheads.
