As long as it isn't a valuable light it would be cool!
joe_347V   [Sep 13, 2011 at 07:46 PM]
You should do it to a DuraGlass.
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 07:51 PM]
Joe, if i get a dura (...), i'm taking the electrical stuff out and the rest is going in the big green truck off to the dump. Razz I've seen painted cobraheads before. Rych's green M-1000 looks very nice. Cool I was thinking blue, because that's my favorite color, but pink sounds cooler. It would be a darker shade than this though.

Shocked You got censored!

Well just don't go painting classic fixtures odd colours. Razz
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 07:57 PM]
It was just c-r-a-p, nothing bad about that. Razz i think a pink M-400 would look nice. Cool It'd look better green though.
gailgrove   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:00 PM]
Shocked I wouldn't do that to any classic fixture, maybe one of my M250R2 but that would be about it!
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:07 PM]
Why not? It's just paint. It's like a shirt. you can put any shirt on and you'll still be the same person. Razz
joe_347V   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:10 PM]
Still you'll lose the original finish when you paint it. Confused
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:13 PM]
Yeah but a light has been in service since the 60's, the paint is most likely long gone anyways. Wink
gailgrove   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:14 PM]
Not if it's unpainted!
joe_347V   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:14 PM]
Not really, I'm pretty sure someone here has a fixture with original paint.
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:17 PM]
That's why i said most likely. Anyways, I see your opinions differ form mine. i don't want to start the solar ligth thing again. Rolling Eyes Laughing
gailgrove   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:18 PM]
Solar lighting thing?
joe_347V   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:19 PM]
Rolling Eyes Me and Michael had a brief argument on cheap solar lights a while back but we mutually agreed to delete our comments on that pic. Laughing
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:20 PM]
yeah. Laughing
gailgrove   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:22 PM]
Ah, I hate those things!
joe_347V   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:22 PM]
Laughing That's why we thought it was silly.
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:24 PM]
I like them, I just recharge the batteries with a battery charger every once in a while. but this is exactly how we got into the argument. Laughing
gailgrove   [Sep 13, 2011 at 08:36 PM]
Well I like arguing, but I don't feel like doing any right now, I won't say anything else.
streetlight98   [Sep 13, 2011 at 09:43 PM]
On a side note, you can't buy sparypaint in Rhode Island (and maybe other states too) if you are under 18, so don't worry about a pink light yet. Razz I can always have my mom or dad buy it for me thoguh...
